Principal Officer and then eventually, G-Wing Governor (s7ep2).

Jim's a popular man with the majority of his fellow officers too. He has the wisdom of years of walking the landings, and there's a self-deprecating front to him - he likes to say he doesn't have all the answers, although he actually believes he does. However, the smarter inmates and POs can see right through to the misogynist bastard who lives beneath the surface.
In truth, Jim doesn't see anything wrong in having sexual relationships with the women in his care - he's got what they need and he's happy to give it to them - so what's the harm? Those who try to bring an end to his nefarious activities soon find out that he makes the worst sort of enemy... he'll stop at nothing, even murder, to get himself out of a tight spot.
Lying dead on the floor of the hanging cell after being stabbed in the neck by an icicle (s7ep10). He later returned to G-Wing as a ghostly presence hallucinated by Julie J (s7ep13).
