Things are looking grim for Karen, but as she leaves court, she finds Neil waiting for her. He has received photographic proof from Rob that Fenner was definitely the man on the CCTV tape.

Darlene finds a voodoo doll in her bed and becomes convinced that Natalie has placed a hex on her. The depths to which Natalie has sunk to amaze even Phyl and Bev, however, her satisfaction is short-lived. Frances arrives with news that she is to be transferred out of Larkhall. Frances is left looking very uncomfortable.

Di and Fenner’s wedding goes off without a hitch and the reception is well under way when Karen and Neil return to give the happy couple their wedding present – a framed copy of Rob’s photographic evidence. Although Di steps forward eagerly with an alibi for the date printed on the photo, Hollamby quickly refutes it. When his staunchest ally deserts him, Fenner breaks down. He crumbles into a nearby chair as Karen and Neil look on in satisfaction.
