Hollamby is in a terrible muddle. Her newly inherited mansion is now more of a burden than a pleasure, especially seeing as Dr Nicholson won’t hear of them abandoning their upcoming wedding in favour of merely living together. Seeing his dream of a life of luxury disappearing before him, Dr Nicholson issues his bride-to-be with an ultimatum: either they get married, or he will never see her again. At work, Hollamby confides in Di who immediately advises her to come clean. How else is she going to be sure that he isn’t just after her money?

Natalie is down the block after the discovery of the pair of scissors that were planted in her mattress by Di. With most of his officers calling for Natalie to be shipped out, Fenner finds himself in an awkward position, especially when she threatens to send her soiled knickers to the police. Natalie summons Janine down to the block and talks her into taking the rap for her. Before long, Janine is confessing to a relieved Fenner that she planted the scissors in Natalie’s cell to get back at her. Di of course knows better, but short of admitting her own guilt, what can she do?

A tough new inmate, Pat Kerrigan is transferred to Larkhall from another prison. Fenner can spot her nuisance potential almost immediately and it seems as though he may be right when less than an hour after arriving, she is holding Sister Thomas at knifepoint on the G2 landing. The other inmates look on in horror as Pat forces Sister Thomas to strip down to her underclothes. However, it soon transpires that their friend isn’t as saintly as she appears when Pat reveals the extent of the abuse that she and another young girl, Lucy, were subjected to by her as a child. To prove it, she orders Neil to find the priest who ran her children’s home.

While she waits for the priest, Pat starts reading aloud from Lucy’s diary, turning the mood of the wing in the process. When Father Kelly arrives, he has no qualms in admitting that he had sex with Lucy, nor that Sister Thomas used to encourage him to sexually abuse the girls in their care so that she could watch. As the evil nun finally reveals her true colours, Pat drops the knife and is immediately pounced on by the POs. Colin plants a head butt on Father Kelly and has to be restrained while the women throw every available missile they can get their hands on at Sister Thomas.

It’s the day of Hollamby and Dr Nicholson’s wedding and, as everyone else prepares for the ceremony, Neil ties up a few loose ends on G-Wing, namely, Arun’s adjudication. He has a surprise in store when Arun walks into his office with her face hidden behind a jumper. She is so disgusted by Sister Thomas that she has decided to forgo Catholicism for Islam. Although Neil is unable to object, Natalie is quick to pounce on Arun upon her return to the wing. She rips away the jumper to reveal a full beard!

Hollamby and Dr Nicholson exchange their wedding vows and they are both thrilled to have done it. Hollamby is now a blushing bride and can’t wait to start married life with her lovely doctor. But, as she is whisked off for a turn on the dance floor, she is unaware of the fact that Dr Nicholson is only after her money. Meanwhile, the blushing bride’s beloved son, Bobby Darren, catches the eye of Neil. Hollamby departs for her honeymoon, unaware that her son and her boss are getting to know each other very well indeed.
