DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER IN A FEW WORDS:
Manipulative, clever and strategic. She is also very selfish and only ever thinks about number one.

HAS YOUR CHARACTER CHANGED SINCE LAST SERIES, AND IF SO, HOW?
Natalie is a whole lot worse this series because now she’s bored and looking for trouble!

YOUR CHARACTER IS VERY STRONGWILLED AND DOMINEERING, DO WE SEE MORE OF THIS IN THE NEW SERIES?
This series we do see Natalie become more domineering as there are new people to manipulate.

HAS YOUR CHARACTER LEARNT HER LESSON BEING IN PRISON OR WOULD SHE CONTINUE TO REOFFEND IF SHE WERE RELEASED?
I think Natalie will always be a bad girl. Even if she was released she would probably reoffend but she would too clever to be caught second time round.

DOES YOUR CHARACTER GET ON WITH ANY OF THE SCREWS BETTER THAN THE REST?
Natalie definitely uses the male screws to her best advantage.

WHAT SORT OF RELATIONSHIP DOES YOUR CHARACTER HAVE WITH THE REST OF THE INMATES?
Natalie is a bully to the weak inmates, manipulates the clever ones and tries to fight the strong ones.

DOES SHE HAVE THEIR RESPECT?
Natalie thinks she has the respect of the others but there probably isn’t one inmate who does actually like her.

YOU HAVE ANOTHER BIG FIGHT SCENE IN THIS SERIES – DID YOU HAVE TO REHEARSE IT MUCH AND DID ANYONE PICK UP ANY REAL LIFE INJURIES?
This series myself and Liz May Brice (who plays newcomer Pat Kerrigan) did an eight hour rehearsal for a fight – it was great fun. We did have a little accident in rehearsals when Liz’s knee connected with my face and I ended up with a broken nose and two black eyes. But Liz and I still love each other!

NATALIE SEEMS TO HAVE MET HER MATCH IN NEWCOMER PAT KERRIGAN – ARE THEY RIVALS FOR TOP DOG?
‘Top dog’ status is Natalie’s main objective. So when Pat turns up it really puts her nose out of joint (literally!). But ‘top dog’ doesn’t mean anything to Pat – she’s not interested in Natalie’s politics. She just wants to keep her head down. And this fires Natalie up even more.

NOW ON TO YOU:

DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS FOR THE SUMMER?
Yes, sunbathing! Hopefully in an exotic country.

WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF FILMING BAD GIRLS?
The cast on Bad Girls really are a wonderful bunch of people to work with. And even after having a broken nose, I still love to do fight scenes. It’s all just good fun.

WHAT IS THE WORST?
The worst thing about Bad Girls is if you are not standing by the biscuit tin by 10.30am you miss out!

WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL WAY TO SPEND A WEEKEND (WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING)?
I enjoy getting to spend time with my little sisters. We do fun things like go to London Zoo or go to see a show. The last show we saw was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the flying car went down a treat (and my little sisters thought it was great as well)!

DO YOU BELIEVE GOING TO A DRAMA SCHOOL MAKES A DIFFERENCE FOR GETTING IN TO ACTING?
The great thing about drama school is it teaches you rejection and in this industry that is a vital talent to master. You really do have to be thick skinned.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR IDEAL ACTING ROLE?
I have always wanted to play a psycho and then I landed the part of Natalie. So now I best think of my next goal!
